⁹ Honor the Lord with your wealth,
    with the firstfruits^(A) of all your crops;
¹⁰ then your barns will be filled^(B) to overflowing,
    and your vats will brim over with new wine.^(C)

²⁶ Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress,^(A)
    and for their children it will be a refuge.^(B)

⁷ The righteous lead blameless lives;^(A)
    blessed are their children after them.^(B)

⁶ Start^(A) children off on the way they should go,^(B)
    and even when they are old they will not turn from it.^(C)

⁶ Better the poor whose walk is blameless
    than the rich whose ways are perverse.^(A)
