Proverbs 19:4-6

But a poor person is separated from his friend.
⁵A ^(B)false witness will not go unpunished,
And one who ^(C)declares lies will not escape.
⁶^(D)Many will seek the favor of a ^[a]generous person,
And every person is a friend to ^(E)him who gives gifts.
