Proverbs 4:18-23
New American Standard Bible
18 But the (A)path of the righteous is like the (B)light of dawn
That (C)shines brighter and brighter until the (D)full day.
19 The (E)way of the wicked is like darkness;
They do not know over what they [a](F)stumble.
20 My son, (G)pay attention to my words;
(H)Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 (I)They are not to escape from your sight;
(J)Keep them in the midst of your heart.
22 For they are (K)life to those who find them,
And (L)healing to all [b]their body.
23 Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For (M)from it flow the springs of life.

King James Version
18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
