Proverbs 2:13-20
New American Standard Bible
13 From those who (A)leave the paths of uprightness
To walk in the (B)ways of darkness;
14 Who (C)delight in doing evil
And rejoice in the perversity of evil;
15 Whose paths are (D)crooked,
And who are devious in their ways;
16 To (E)rescue you from the strange woman,
From the (F)foreign woman who flatters with her words,
17 Who leaves the (G)companion of her youth
And forgets the (H)covenant of her God;
18 For (I)her house sinks down to death,
And her tracks lead to the [a]dead;
19 None (J)who go to her return,
Nor do they reach the (K)paths of life.
20 So you will (L)walk in the way of good people
And keep to the (M)paths of the righteous.

13 who have left the straight paths
to walk in dark ways,(A)

18 Surely her house leads down to death
and her paths to the spirits of the dead.(G)
19 None who go to her return
