¹⁴Do everything without grumbling^(A) or arguing,

¹⁴Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

⁶Do not be anxious about anything,^(A) but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.^(B)

⁶Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

¹¹I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content^(A) whatever the circumstances.

¹¹Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
