10 so that at the name of Jesus (A)every knee will bow, of (B)those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is (C)Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 So then, my beloved, (D)just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own (E)salvation with (F)fear and trembling; 13 for it is (G)God who is at work in you, both to [a]desire and to work (H)for His good pleasure.

12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,(D) 13 for it is God who works in you(E) to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.(F)
