²⁴ “Aaron will be ^(A)gathered to his people; for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because ^(B)you rebelled against My ^[a]command at the waters of Meribah.

²⁸ And after Moses stripped Aaron of his garments and ^(A)put them on his son Eleazar, ^(B)Aaron died there on the mountain top. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.

⁶ (Now the sons of Israel set out from ^[a]Beeroth ^(A)Bene-jaakan to Moserah. ^(B)There Aaron died and there he was buried, and his son Eleazar served as priest in his place.
