36 (A)When he saw the crowds, (B)he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, (C)like sheep without a shepherd. 37 (D)Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore (E)pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to (F)send out laborers into his harvest.”

36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
