Matthew 20:13

¹³But he answered and said to one of them, ‘^(A)Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for a denarius?

Matthew 20:13

New International Version

¹³“But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend.^(A) Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius?

⁵⁰But Jesus said to him, “^(A)Friend, do what you have come for.” Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and arrested Him.

⁵⁰Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”^[a]^(A)

Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.
