22 As(A) they were eating, He took bread,(B) blessed and broke(C) it, gave it to them,(D) and said, “Take it;[a] this is My body.”(E)
23 Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks,(F) He gave it to them, and so they all drank from it. 24 He said to them, “This is My blood that establishes the covenant;[b](G) it is shed(H) for many.(I) 25 I assure you:(J) I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine(K) until that day when I drink it in a new(L) way[c] in the kingdom of God.”(M)

20 In the same way He also took the cup after supper and said, “This cup is the new covenant(E) established by My blood;(F) it is shed for you.[a]
