¹⁵ But others said, “He’s Elijah.”^(A) Still others said, “He’s a prophet^[a]—like one of the prophets.”^(B)

¹⁶ Then fear^[a] came over everyone,^(A) and they glorified God,^(B) saying, “A great prophet has risen among us,”^(C) and “God has visited^[b] His people.”^(D)

³³ Yet I must^(A) travel today, tomorrow, and the next day, because it is not possible for a prophet^(B) to perish^(C) outside of Jerusalem!

¹⁹ “What things?” He asked them.

So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene,^(A) who was a Prophet^(B) powerful in action and speech^(C) before God and all the people,^(D)

²¹ “What then?” they asked him. “Are you Elijah?”^(A)

“I am not,” he said.

“Are you the Prophet?”^[a](B)

“No,” he answered.

¹⁹ “Sir,” the woman replied, “I see that You are a prophet.

¹⁴ When the people saw the sign^[a] He had done, they said, “This really is the Prophet^(A) who was to come^(B) into the world!”^(C)
