61 (A)But He kept silent and did not offer any answer. (B)Again the high priest was questioning Him, and *said to Him, “Are You the [a]Christ, the Son of [b]the Blessed One?” 62 And Jesus said, “I am; and you shall see (C)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and (D)coming with the clouds of heaven.” 63 (E)Tearing his clothes, the high priest *said, “What further need do we have of witnesses? 64 You have heard the (F)blasphemy; how does it seem to you?” And they all condemned Him as deserving of death. 65 And some began to (G)spit on Him, and [c](H)to blindfold Him, and to beat Him with their fists and say to Him, “(I)Prophesy!” Then the officers took custody of Him [d]and slapped Him in the face.

62 “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”(C)

63 The high priest tore his clothes.(D) “Why do we need any more witnesses?” he asked. 64 “You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?”

They all condemned him as worthy of death.(E) 65 Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.(F)
