Malachi 3:15-17

15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. 17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

New International Version
15 But now we call the arrogant(A) blessed. Certainly evildoers(B) prosper,(C) and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it.’”
The Faithful Remnant
16 Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard.(D) A scroll(E) of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared(F) the Lord and honored his name.
17 “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my(G) treasured possession.(H) I will spare(I) them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son(J) who serves him.
