³⁵ And He said to them, “When I sent you out without a money pouch and travel bag and sandals, you didn’t lack anything, did you?”

They said, “No, nothing.”

³⁶ Then He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money pouch must carry it as well as a travel bag. And whoever does not own a sword must sell his cloak and buy one. ³⁷ For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me: ‘And he was counted with the lawless.’^[a] For what is written about Me is being fulfilled.”
