45 Then He (A)opened their [a]minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, “(B)So it is written, that the [b]Christ would suffer and (C)rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and that (D)repentance [c]for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed [d]in His name to (E)all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
