⁴⁶And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit!” Having said this, He breathed His last.^(A)

⁴⁶Jesus called out with a loud voice,^(A) “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”^[a]^(B) When he had said this, he breathed his last.^(C)

⁵⁹They continued stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive and accept and welcome my spirit!”

⁵⁹While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”^(A)
