43 Jesus[a] told him, “I tell you[b] with certainty, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

44 It was already about noon,[c] and the whole land[d] became dark until three in the afternoon[e] 45 because the sun had stopped shining, and the curtain[f] in the sanctuary was torn in two.
