Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives^(A)

³⁹ Jesus went out as usual^(B) to the Mount of Olives,^(C) and his disciples followed him.

¹⁷ And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany,^(A) where he spent the night.

¹⁹ When evening came, Jesus and his disciples^[a] went out of the city.^(A)

8 ¹ but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.^(A)

² Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples.^(A)
