16 “He will come and destroy these farmers and will give his vineyard to others.” But when they heard it, they said, “May it never be!”

17 And He looked at them, and said, “What, then, is the meaning of that which is written, ‘The stone that the builders refused, is made the head cornerstone?’

18 “Whoever shall fall upon that stone, shall be broken. And whomever it shall fall upon will be ground into powder.”

“‘The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone’[a]?(B)

18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”(C)
