³⁵ The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you,^(A) and the power of the Most High^(B) will overshadow you. So the holy one^(C) to be born will be called^[a] the Son of God.^(D)

⁴ Anyone who speaks in a tongue^(A) edifies^(B) themselves, but the one who prophesies^(C) edifies the church.

¹³ For this reason the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that they may interpret what they say.^(A)
