35 And on the next day, having taken out two denarii[a], he gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take-care-of him. And whatever thing you spend-further I will give-back to you during my returning’. 36 Which of these three seems to you to have become[b] a neighbor of the one having fallen into the robbers?” 37 And the one said, “The one having shown mercy to him”. And Jesus said to him, “Go, and you be doing likewise”.

35 The next day he took out two denarii[a] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”
Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
