Lamentations 5:16-22

¹⁶ The crown^(A) has fallen from our head.^(B)
    Woe to us, for we have sinned!^(C)
17 Because of this our hearts^(D) are faint,^(E)
    because of these things our eyes^(F) grow dim^(G)
18 for Mount Zion,^(H) which lies desolate,^(I)
    with jackals prowling over it.

¹⁹ You, Lord, reign forever;^(J)
    your throne endures^(K) from generation to generation.
²⁰ Why do you always forget us?^(L)
    Why do you forsake^(M) us so long?
²¹ Restore^(N) us to yourself, Lord, that we may return;
    renew our days as of old
²² unless you have utterly rejected us^(O)
    and are angry with us beyond measure.^(P)
