³ For whenever Israel had sown, the Midianites would come up with the Amalekites and the ^[a]people of the east and ^[b]march against them.

³³ Then all the Midianites, the Amalekites, and the ^[a]people of the east assembled together; and they crossed over and camped in ^(A)the Valley of Jezreel.

¹² Now the Midianites, the Amalekites, and all the ^[a]people of the east were lying in the valley ^(A)as numerous as locusts; and their camels were without number, ^(B)as numerous as the sand on the seashore.
