4 After this it came about that he was in love with a woman in the Valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah. 5 So the (A)governors of the Philistines came up to her and said to her, “(B)Entice him, and see where his great strength lies and [a]how we can overpower him so that we may bind him to humble him. Then we will each give you 1,100 pieces of silver.” 6 So Delilah said to Samson, “Please tell me where your great strength lies, and [b]how you can be bound to humble you.”

4 Some time later, he fell in love(A) with a woman in the Valley of Sorek whose name was Delilah.(B) 5 The rulers of the Philistines(C) went to her and said, “See if you can lure(D) him into showing you the secret of his great strength(E) and how we can overpower him so we may tie him up and subdue him. Each one of us will give you eleven hundred shekels[a] of silver.”(F)
6 So Delilah(G) said to Samson, “Tell me the secret of your great strength and how you can be tied up and subdued.”

6 And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.
