20 She said, “Shimshon! The P’lishtim have come for you!” He awoke from his sleep and said, “I’ll get out this time, just as I shook myself loose before.” But he didn’t know that Adonai had left him. 21 So the P’lishtim seized him, gouged out his eyes and took him down to ‘Azah. There they bound him with two bronze chains and put him to work grinding grain at the mill in the prison. 22 However, after the hair on his head had been cut off, it began growing back again.

20 Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”(A)
He awoke from his sleep and thought, “I’ll go out as before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him.(B)
21 Then the Philistines(C) seized him, gouged out his eyes(D) and took him down to Gaza.(E) Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain(F) in the prison. 22 But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved.
