¹⁷ In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.^(A)

²⁵ But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law:^(A) ‘They hated me without reason.’^[a](B)

¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the law says,^(A) it says to those who are under the law,^(B) so that every mouth may be silenced^(C) and the whole world held accountable to God.^(D)
