^31 (B)He who comes from above ^(C)is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and ^(D)speaks in an earthly way. ^(E)He who comes from heaven ^(F)is above all. ^32 (G)He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, ^(H)yet no one receives his testimony. ³³ Whoever receives his testimony ^(I)sets his seal to this, ^(J)that God is true. ³⁴ For he whom ^(K)God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit ^(L)without measure. ^35 (M)The Father loves the Son and ^(N)has given all things into his hand. ^36 (O)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; ^(P)whoever does not obey the Son shall not ^(Q)see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Rivers of Living Water

^37 (A)On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, ^(B)“If anyone thirsts, let him ^(C)come to me and drink. ³⁸ Whoever believes in me, ^(D)as^[a] the Scripture has said, ^(E)‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of ^(F)living water.’” ³⁹ Now ^(G)this he said about the Spirit, ^(H)whom those who believed in him were to receive, ^(I)for as yet the Spirit had not been ^(J)given, ^(K)because Jesus was not yet glorified.
