39 For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again, 40 “(A)He has blinded their eyes and He (B)hardened their heart, so that they will not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and [a]be converted, and so I will not heal them.” 41 These things Isaiah said because (C)he saw His glory, and (D)he spoke about Him.

so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts,
nor turn—and I would heal them.”[a](A)
41 Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory(B) and spoke about him.(C)
