Job 23:12-16
New International Version
12 I have not departed from the commands of his lips;(A)
I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.(B)
13 “But he stands alone, and who can oppose him?(C)
He does whatever he pleases.(D)
14 He carries out his decree against me,
and many such plans he still has in store.(E)
15 That is why I am terrified before him;(F)
when I think of all this, I fear him.(G)
16 God has made my heart faint;(H)
the Almighty(I) has terrified me.(J)

12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
16 For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
