Job 20:7-15
New International Version
7 he will perish forever,(A) like his own dung;
those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’(B)
8 Like a dream(C) he flies away,(D) no more to be found,
banished(E) like a vision of the night.(F)
9 The eye that saw him will not see him again;
his place will look on him no more.(G)
10 His children(H) must make amends to the poor;
his own hands must give back his wealth.(I)
11 The youthful vigor(J) that fills his bones(K)
will lie with him in the dust.(L)
12 “Though evil(M) is sweet in his mouth
and he hides it under his tongue,(N)
13 though he cannot bear to let it go
and lets it linger in his mouth,(O)
14 yet his food will turn sour in his stomach;(P)
it will become the venom of serpents(Q) within him.
15 He will spit out the riches(R) he swallowed;
God will make his stomach vomit(S) them up.
