Jeremiah 43:9-11
English Standard Version
9 “Take in your hands large stones and hide them in the mortar in the pavement that is at the entrance to Pharaoh's palace in (A)Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah, 10 and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, (B)my servant, (C)and I will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden, and he will spread his royal canopy over them. 11 He shall come (D)and strike the land of Egypt, (E)giving over to the pestilence those who are doomed to the pestilence, to captivity those who are doomed to captivity, and to the sword those who are doomed to the sword.

9 “While the Jews are watching, take some large stones(A) with you and bury them in clay in the brick(B) pavement at the entrance to Pharaoh’s palace(C) in Tahpanhes. 10 Then say to them, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will send for my servant(D) Nebuchadnezzar(E) king of Babylon, and I will set his throne(F) over these stones I have buried here; he will spread his royal canopy(G) above them. 11 He will come and attack Egypt,(H) bringing death(I) to those destined(J) for death, captivity to those destined for captivity,(K) and the sword to those destined for the sword.(L)
