^26 (A)I will hurl you and ^(B)the mother who bore you into another country, where you were not born, and there you shall die.

¹⁷ Behold, the Lord will hurl you away violently, O you strong man. ^(A)He will seize firm hold on you ¹⁸ and whirl you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a wide land. There you shall die, and there shall be ^(B)your glorious chariots, you shame of your master's house.

²⁶ I ^(A)call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess. You will not live long in it, but will be utterly destroyed. ²⁷ And the Lord ^(B)will scatter you among the peoples, ^(C)and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. ²⁸ And ^(D)there you will serve gods of wood and stone, the work of human hands, ^(E)that neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

⁶⁴ “And the Lord ^(A)will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and ^(B)there you shall serve other gods ^(C)of wood and stone, ^(D)which neither you nor your fathers have known. ⁶⁵ And ^(E)among these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but ^(F)the Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and ^(G)a languishing soul.
