James 4:9-11

9 (A)Be miserable and mourn and cry. Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 (B)Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
11 (C)Do not slander one another, (D)brothers. He who slanders a brother or (E)judges his brother, slanders (F)the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not (G)a doer of the law but a judge of it.

New International Version
9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.(A) 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.(B)
11 Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another.(C) Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister[a] or judges them(D) speaks against the law(E) and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it,(F) but sitting in judgment on it.
