¹⁴Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.^(A)

²⁰But the wicked will perish;
the enemies of the Lord are like ^(A)the glory of the pastures;
they vanish—like ^(B)smoke they vanish away.

²⁰But the wicked will perish:^(A)
Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field,
they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.^(B)
