James 4:12-14
New American Standard Bible
12 There is only one (A)Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is (B)able to save and to destroy; but (C)who are you, [a]judging your neighbor?
13 (D)Come now, you who say, “(E)Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 [b]Yet you do not know [c]what your life will be like tomorrow. (F)For you are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away.

13 Now listen,(D) you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”(E) 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.(F)
