12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might [a]sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing (A)His reproach. 14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. 15 (B)Therefore by Him let us continually offer (C)the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, (D)the fruit of our lips, [b]giving thanks to His name. 16 (E)But do not forget to do good and to share, for (F)with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17 (G)Obey those who [c]rule over you, and be submissive, for (H)they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice(H) of praise—the fruit of lips(I) that openly profess his name. 16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others,(J) for with such sacrifices(K) God is pleased.

17 Have confidence in your leaders(L) and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you(M) as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
