Hebrews 5:4-5

⁴And ^(A)no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, ^(B)just as Aaron was.

⁵So also Christ ^(C)did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him,

^(D)“You are my Son,
today I have begotten you”;

⁵In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory^(B) of becoming a high priest.^(C) But God said^(D) to him,

“You are my Son;
