Potiphar was pleased with him and made him his personal servant; so he put him in charge of his house and everything he owned. From then on, because of Joseph the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian and everything that he had in his house and in his fields. Potiphar turned over everything he had to the care of Joseph and did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate.

Joseph found favor in his eyes(A) and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household,(B) and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.(C) From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household(D) of the Egyptian because of Joseph.(E) The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.(F) So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care;(G) with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate.
