61 Then Rebekah and her maids arose, and they rode on the camels and followed the man. So the servant took Rebekah and departed.

62 Now Isaac came from the way of (A)Beer Lahai Roi, for he dwelt in the South. 63 And Isaac went out (B)to meditate in the field in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming. 64 Then Rebekah lifted her eyes, and when she saw Isaac (C)she dismounted from her camel; 65 for she had said to the servant, “Who is this man walking in the field to meet us?”

The servant said, “It is my master.” So she took a veil and covered herself.

61 Then Rebekah and her attendants(A) got ready and mounted the camels and went back with the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left.

62 Now Isaac had come from Beer Lahai Roi,(B) for he was living in the Negev.(C) 63 He went out to the field one evening to meditate,[a](D) and as he looked up,(E) he saw camels approaching. 64 Rebekah also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel(F) 65 and asked the servant, “Who is that man in the field coming to meet us?”

“He is my master,” the servant answered. So she took her veil(G) and covered herself.
