Genesis 2:16-18

16 And Yahweh God commanded the man,[a] saying, “From every tree of the garden you may freely eat,[b] 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat[c] from it you shall surely die.”[d]
18 Then[e] Yahweh God said, “it is not good that the man[f] is alone. I will make for him a helper as his counterpart.”[g]
