⁸ Also ^(A)I give to you and your descendants after you the land ^(B)in^[a] which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and ^(C)I will be their God.”

⁵ Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.
