2 But Abram said, “Lord [a]God, what will You give me, since I [b]am childless, and the [c]heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Abram also said, “[d]Since You have given me no [e]son, [f]one who has been (A)born in my house is my heir.”

New International Version
2 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord,(A) what can you give me since I remain childless(B) and the one who will inherit[a] my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?(C)” 3 And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant(D) in my household(E) will be my heir.”
