⁵ In the fourteenth year Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him came and attacked ^(A)the Rephaim in Ashteroth Karnaim, ^(B)the Zuzim in Ham, ^(C)the Emim in Shaveh Kiriathaim,

⁸ And the border went up ^(A)by the Valley of the Son of Hinnom to the southern slope of the ^(B)Jebusite city (which is Jerusalem). The border went up to the top of the mountain that lies before the Valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the Valley ^(C)of ^[a]Rephaim northward.

¹⁵ Now three of the thirty chief men ^(A)went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the army of the Philistines encamped ^(B)in the Valley of ^[a]Rephaim.
