¹⁹ And he blessed him and said,

² And he said to his mother, “The 1,100 pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse and also spoke it in my hearing, behold, the silver is with me; I took it.” And his mother said, “Blessed be my son by the Lord.”

¹⁰ Then he said, “^(A)May you be blessed of the Lord, my daughter. You have shown your last kindness to be better than the first, by not going after young men, whether poor or rich.

⁵ So David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead, and said to them, “^(A)May you be blessed of the Lord because you have ^[a]shown this kindness to Saul your lord, and have buried him.
