Genesis 11:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 Come, [a](A)let Us go down and there (B)confuse their [b]language, so that they will not understand one another’s [c]speech.” 8 So the Lord (C)scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth; and they stopped building the city. 9 Therefore it was named [d](D)Babel, because there the Lord confused the [e]language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

New International Version
7 Come, let us(A) go down(B) and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”(C)
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,(D) and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[a](E)—because there the Lord confused the language(F) of the whole world.(G) From there the Lord scattered(H) them over the face of the whole earth.
