Genesis 11:5-9
New King James Version
5 (A)But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed (B)the people are one and they all have (C)one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they (D)propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, (E)let Us go down and there (F)confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So (G)the Lord scattered them abroad from there (H)over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called [a]Babel, (I)because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

Genesis 11:5-9
New International Version
5 But the Lord came down(A) to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language(B) they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us(C) go down(D) and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”(E)
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,(F) and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[a](G)—because there the Lord confused the language(H) of the whole world.(I) From there the Lord scattered(J) them over the face of the whole earth.
