¹⁰ Weigh out twenty shekels^[a](A) of food to eat each day and eat it at set times. ¹¹ Also measure out a sixth of a hin^[b] of water and drink it at set times.^(B)

²⁶ When I cut off your supply of bread,^(A) ten women will be able to bake your bread in one oven, and they will dole out the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied.

Judgment on Jerusalem and Judah

¹⁹ Say to the people of the land: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says about those living in Jerusalem and in the land of Israel: They will eat their food in anxiety and drink their water in despair, for their land will be stripped of everything^(A) in it because of the violence of all who live there.^(B)
