¹⁸ “They will return to it and remove all its vile images^(A) and detestable idols.^{(B) 19} I will give them an undivided heart^(C) and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone^(D) and give them a heart of flesh.^{(E) 20} Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.^(F) They will be my people,^(G) and I will be their God.^(H)

⁶⁰ Yet I will remember the covenant^(A) I made with you in the days of your youth,^(B) and I will establish an everlasting covenant^(C) with you. ⁶¹ Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed^(D) when you receive your sisters, both those who are older than you and those who are younger. I will give them to you as daughters,^(E) but not on the basis of my covenant with you. ⁶² So I will establish my covenant^(F) with you, and you will know that I am the Lord.^{(G) 63} Then, when I make atonement^(H) for you for all you have done, you will remember and be ashamed^(I) and never again open your mouth^(J) because of your humiliation, declares the Sovereign Lord.^(K)’”

²⁶ I will make a covenant of peace^(A) with them; it will be an everlasting covenant.^(B) I will establish them and increase their numbers,^(C) and I will put my sanctuary among them^(D) forever.^(E)
