8 and again in the evening twilight, when he lights the lamps, he shall burn incense. Throughout your generations this shall be the regular incense offering before the Lord. 9 On this altar you shall not offer up any profane incense, or any burnt offering or grain offering; nor shall you pour out a libation upon it. 10 Once a year Aaron shall purge its horns.(A) Throughout your generations he is to purge it once a year with the blood of the atoning purification offering. This altar is most sacred to the Lord.

New International Version
8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.(A) 9 Do not offer on this altar any other incense(B) or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it. 10 Once a year(C) Aaron shall make atonement(D) on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering[a](E) for the generations to come.(F) It is most holy to the Lord.”
