Exodus 12:16-18

16 Meet together for worship on the first and seventh days of the festival. The only work you are allowed to do on either of these two days is that of preparing the bread.
17 Celebrate this Festival of Thin Bread as a way of remembering the day that I brought your families and tribes out of Egypt. And do this each year. 18 Begin on the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month by eating bread made without yeast. Then continue this celebration until the evening of the twenty-first day.

New International Version
16 On the first day hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the seventh day. Do no work(A) at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat; that is all you may do.
17 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread,(B) because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt.(C) Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.(D) 18 In the first month(E) you are to eat bread made without yeast, from the evening of the fourteenth day until the evening of the twenty-first day.
